Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 4, 2026 · Last Updated: April 4, 2026
Financial Freedom App ("we," "our," or "us") is an outreach ministry of The Worship Center Christian Church. We operate the Financial Freedom App web and mobile application (the "Service") available at https://financialfreedomapp.biz. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, including when you purchase a subscription plan or download digital content. Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, purchase a subscription, or contact us for support, we may collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment method details. Payment card information is processed exclusively by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored on our servers. We receive only a tokenized reference and the last four digits of your card for display purposes.
1.2 Financial Data You Enter
Our Service allows you to enter budget data, financial goals, debt information, and connect bank accounts through our bank-sync feature (powered by Plaid). Any bank account data retrieved through Plaid is governed by Plaid's own privacy policy in addition to ours. We store only the data necessary to provide the Service and never sell your financial information to third parties.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used to maintain security, improve the Service, and diagnose technical issues.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use session cookies to authenticate your login and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent certain features of the Service from functioning correctly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- Process subscription payments and deliver purchased digital content;
- Send transactional emails such as receipts, renewal notices, and account alerts;
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- Personalize your experience and deliver AI-powered financial coaching features;
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your data to data brokers or marketing companies.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), Plaid (bank connectivity), and cloud hosting providers. These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Financial Freedom App, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Service before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- Ministry Operations: As an outreach ministry of The Worship Center Christian Church, aggregate and anonymized usage statistics may be shared internally for ministry reporting purposes. No personally identifiable information is shared with the church without your explicit consent.
4. Digital Content and Subscription Data
When you purchase a subscription plan or access downloadable content through the Service, we retain records of your purchase history, content access logs, and subscription status. This information is used to:
- Verify your entitlement to access premium content;
- Provide download history and re-download capabilities;
- Process refund requests in accordance with our refund policy; and
- Comply with tax and financial record-keeping requirements.
Purchase records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to satisfy applicable tax and accounting obligations.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel only. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access and Portability: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You may update or correct inaccurate information through your account settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records).
- Opt-Out of Communications: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email. Transactional emails related to your account and subscription cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
- Push Notifications: You may disable push notifications through your device or browser settings at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to all requests within thirty (30) days.
7. Children's Privacy

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect.
